Specialized Training Labs
Our specialized labs are designed to simulate real-world work environments, with the equipment required for you to master the skills you will need in the workplace.
- Computer numerical control students work with CAD/CAM software and machine tools including vertical mills, engine lathes, and surface grinders.
- Electrician students use NEC manuals, multimeters, clamp-on current meters, circuit testers, and typical hand tools to complete residential and commercial projects in a completely framed house called the "stick house."
- Pharmacy technician students utilize computer software, drug guides, pharmaceutical instruments, and materials found in a typical retail or hospital pharmacy.
- Medical assistant students utilize autoclaves, centrifuges, exam tables, EKGs, computer software, and other items found in typical hospitals, labs, and doctors' offices.
Career Resources
We encourage you to utilize our on-site Resource Center, which is stocked with selected books, professional journals, and periodicals relevant to the programs we offer at Kaplan Career Institute. Computers with Internet access are available to facilitate research and computer-related training. The building also houses administrative and career services offices, a reception area, and a student lounge.
